/ 10That was one of the best experiences in my life! I enjoyed Uganda, the people, the nature, my host family and the children…everything was exciting! I have to thank all Uganda and LV for let me have such a great time.Bazil and his family are really kind, since they picked me up from the airport till they dropped me off there the last day, I always had them as reference and they never failed. Living in a village is also part of the whole experience, and they were able to make me feel as it was my place. They even had a touristic plan for me for the week end, I enjoyed!
The life there is hard, they don’t have most of the facilities I am used to, but immediately my mind knows that is their life and I had to adapt myself, and I managed, and I learnt a lot in that sense, it seemed we can even live with no electricity…
The orphanage I helped out is really a nice place. I love those children; I am going to get the sponsorship for one of them. And I am in contact with the orphanage to provide some support from my Country, as it seems I was the first Italian visiting it. Maybe they gave me more emotions than my support to them, they are lovely! And at the end you feel like you would never leave them…I am already missing them so much…
Thank you for the great job you are doing and for the efficient and the useful support provided. I'm looking forward to doing it again!
